In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
